Structure Description
The home has gone through many changes since its construction. An early photograph shows a simple porch, a one-story wing on the east side of the home and a cupola in the center of the roof. An 1899 photograph shows a wrap-around front porch, pedimented gables over the front porch entryway and a balcony that was topped by another pedimented roof. There was also a cupola in the center of the roof and wing on the east side with a porch.
At a later date, the wrap-around porch was removed and the present entry, with its beautiful bevel glass door, side windows, and transom was added, bringing the home closer to its original appearance.
