Greek Revival/Vernacular style

Original structure is believed to have been built by Francis Baker.

The front porch has been shortened, it originally extended across the entire front of the house. A series of enclosed porch additions have connected the barn with the house and other remodeling makes it difficult to determine the original uses of some rooms. As with most Greek Revival homes, the rooms are clustered together to conserve heat. The staircase is nestled in the middle of the house and retains the original double vertical-paneled door, common in the style.

Exterior features include the red brick, shallow arch brick lintel and star ended tie rods by the eaves.
