This house's clapboard siding and the two shapes of wood shingles are common surface materials of the Stick style. Other features include the heavy wood brackets found supporting porches and decorating window surrounds and dormers.
The interior has retained much of its original wood trim and decoration. The oak floor of the foyer has an ebony and walnut inlay as well as a parquet pattern. The dining room also has an inlay flooring but with a Greek key design. The foyer, living, and family rooms all have the original fireplaces and mantles. The original wall sconces can be found in the family and living rooms and the original chandelier in the dining room.
