The sturdy house is one of the earlier Prairie style subtypes with a rectangular floor plan, pitched hip roof, symmetrical facade with the entry at its center. The facade is tapestry brick. Decorative large strips of limestone surround the vertically paned windows and form the heavy lintel and porch columns.
