Structure Description

This is a large brick two story farmhouse, probably built around 1860, although its Greek Revival features might indicate earlier construction. The facade is marked by a long Italianate style porch, strong curved Italianate front door and sidelights, and pairs of windows. All sections of the house have a handsome and prominent cornice, emphasized with a wide, divided band of trim, discontinuous across the gable end, an almost universal feature of the Greek Revival style.
